As part the phased reopening of the economy and other activities in the State, the Governor has signed Addendum 13 which outlines necessary and required social distancing, face covering and sanitation measures to reduce the transmission of the Covid-19 coronavirus. The Governor's Executive Orrder 01-20 has been amended with Addendum 12 that includes the Orders of Addendum 11, but expands the "Phased Restart" as of May 4th by allowing up 10 employees per location for construction, manufacturing and distribution under specified conditons. And as of May 11th the addendum further allows as as many employees "as necessary" for the same sectors under the same training and safety requirements. With the loosening of social distancing in other States, Vemont still discourages non essential travel which may result in bringing the virus to Vermont. If someone must travel, they may find it useful to check with the Executive Orders and Directives in other States. Reopening plans for other States can be seen HERE.
Govrenor Scott is calling Vermonters into service to assist in the State's response to the COVID-19 crisis. More medical professionals and front line workers are sought. We are all urged to provide help in many ways: donating protective equipment, making masks, participating in blood draws and donating to food banks. Go to https://vermont.gov/volunteer to volunteer.
